Up a Creek offers both seasonal sites and sites for overnight visitors with RV units or tents. Each site is equipped with soft water water, sewer and power and the campground has great amenities like a large HEATED swimming pool with accompanying showers and restrooms, a campground store, a recreation room, two large shower buildings plus a 60 x 120 storage building for all the toys. The large campground store carries a large clothing selection, hard scooped ice cream, hand crafted coffee beverages and of course there is a nice selection of gifts and groceries too.
The 31 campsites available for overnight rental. All of the sites come with a picnic table and fire ring and there are 5 pull thru sites which can accommodate large campers.
The 62 seasonal sites are large and have mature trees. A fire ring and picnic table are provided at each site – decks, sheds and landscaping are allowed. Lawnmowers, trimmers, rakes, shovels are free to use for guests to maintain their sites. Septic and water are provided along with all amenities, but electric is metered at an additional expense. Wood can be purchased by the bucket and there is on-site propane for sale.
The campground also rents out three campers on a short term basis and each comes with a fire pit, picnic table, large deck or patio, grill, sleeping for 4-6 people and each are fully furnished with all the comforts of home. An additional two bedroom, one bath apartment is also available for short term rental or could serve as a manager or owner residence. This rental is attached to the campground store, but has private outdoor seating area complete with fire pit, seating for 6, picnic table and charcoal grill. Located next to swimming pool as well! Apartment is fully furnished with everything you need to make your stay an enjoyable one!
The campground’s special location creates a magical opportunity for a REAL lazy river experience. The river runs from East Fox Lake and continues into Little Pine Lake and winds through the resort. The water is crystal clear with a sandy bottom and the average depth is 2-3 feet. The ride starts near the campground store and ends at the property’s edge. When the river is at its normal level, you can expect a tube ride to last just over an hour. The campground offers tube and kayak rentals to guests and offering rentals to off site guests could yield even more income!
